Changing Hands is one of Cincinnati’s premier children’s consignment sales, primarily serving Cincinnati’s east side and surrounding neighborhoods. The sale happens biannually, once in the Fall for Fall/Winter merchandise, and then again in the Spring for Spring/Summer merchandise. Changing Hands takes place at Madeira Elementary School, in the heart of family-friendly Madeira, Ohio. The sale offers deeply discounted brand-name children’s clothes, toys, games, books, accessories, play equipment, and more — all under one roof! Consignors take home a 70% profit on all merchandise sold, while shoppers can save hundreds of dollars on must-have and novelty items for children aged newborn to teen. Only items in excellent condition will be sold, eliminating the need to spend extra time sorting through lesser quality merchandise.
Furthermore, 30% of the sale’s proceeds go to support the school’s PTO and help fund outstanding programs such as Got Art and Young Author’s night. Consignors may also choose to donate any unsold merchandise, benefiting those in greater need in our community.
