Serving the east side and surrounding neighborhoods, our biannual sale features Fall/Winter items in the Fall and Spring/Summer items in the Spring. A Fundraiser by Parents, for Parents
The Changing Hands Sale is an official PTO fundraiser for Madeira Elementary, run by parents and teachers with children at the school. Our committee is passionate about raising funds for educational programming while creating a community space for families to buy and sell children’s items.
Shop and Save Big!
Held at Madeira Elementary School in Madeira, Ohio, Changing Hands offers brand-name children’s clothing, toys, games, books, accessories, play equipment, and more — all under one roof! Shoppers can save hundreds on must-have items for children from newborn to teen, while consignors take home 70% of their sales. Only gently used, high-quality items are sold, ensuring you won’t waste time sifting through low-quality merchandise.
Support Your Community
30% of all sale proceeds benefit Madeira Elementary’s PTO, funding important programs like Got Art and Young Author’s Night. Consignors also have the option to donate unsold items, helping those in our community.
Volunteering is also a great way to show your support! Our sale is 100% volunteer-run, so it is people like you who help make this event possible. As an added benefit, all volunteers get exclusive early access to shop before the sale opens to the public.
Donations
Consignors can donate unsold items by marking the donation box on their tags, and these goods are then distributed to local charities selected by our Sale Committee. One organization we proudly support is St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati, which has been helping local families for over 145 years with essential services like food, shelter, and clothing.
